It’s that time of the year again…
ARRL FIeld Day 2011 (Eric VA3AMX and Ying VA3YH)
This year I’ll be heading over to Hampton Park and meet up with members of the Ottawa Valley QRP Society to play in the ARRL Field Day. I’m looking forward to trying out my KX3 bicycle portable station from the park. I’ve just got to solder some Anderson Power Pole connectors and then I will have enough portable power to run at 10W for the entire day using an A123 battery pack from buddipole.

look forward to your 2012 Field Day report, hope you had fun and many contacts, our group here in St Thomas operated in the QRP category out of Shedden and we had 4 stations on the air, not sure how many contacts
